On a business trip the U.S. I managed to fly back to visit my parents in Canada. I asked my dad to sit down and talk about his life.
In this episode I discover what happened before I was born, and after.
Why did my dad leave the UK for Canada? Why did mom follow? What sparked my parents to drive around all of the Americas in a VW campervan for 16 months? Why did we move to South Korea when I was only three and my brother had just been born to build a nuclear plant?
Then much else followed - with patterns that repeat in life, and the acorn never falls far from the tree.
And I can't wait for my children to learn about their heritage as well.
